old at diagnosis.I was stage T2B with a gleason score of 7 and very low PSA of 3.0. Surgery was my choice. I was cancer free for 2.5 years. Psa started to increase rapidly with a doubling time of 43 days. I did 8 weeks of radiation. Now , 120 days post radiation my PSA is still up. There is some indication that I have lymph node involvement. I , like you , need to know what is next. Remember, cancer has no rules. A good attitude is your friend. I'm still searching for the best treatment. My late grand father, my late uncle and my late father for that matter all died of prostate cancer. Hard luck of them because they only realised that they had the cancer when it was on stage 4. Chemoteraphy did not help at all. Hormone injection still did work out. Still the cancer cells spread all over until in one case, it striked to the brain. Can any of the expert out there tell us how to stop the cells from spreading. Shall we strive to recover from the cancer cells of stop it from spreading and at the same time lead a healthy life till the end. This might not be the answer to treat cancer but I hope it can be of a reasonable topic for us to share.
