My brother got a temporary power of attorney over my 85...

My brother got a temporary power of attorney over my 85 year old mother somehow without my knowledge, within the past few weeks. He put her in a nursing home in Kentucky. However, I was fortunate to catch them in court before a judge gave him full power. The judge scheduled a July jury hearing to decide. However, it is hurting me and my mother that she is remaining in this nursing home, when I want to take her in at my house and take care of her. As a son, I believe that I should have that chance. What are my choices and can I get her out of that nursing home somehow, if not just for weekends? I am afraid of what condition my mom could be if she has to stay in a nursing home until mid-July.
