My mom has dementia. She will be moved from a hospital to rehab in a couple of days. After that I have to get her to go to an assisted living facility. Wish me luck! Do I need durable power of attorney in order to sell her house to pay for it and if I sell it will there be any capitol gaines tax? Her house is in California.
