If my grandmother should die while visiting me in another state, can I transport her home in my own personal vehicle?

My 94 year old grandmother lives in NH. She is coming to visit me in NY. If for some reason she dies while she is here, how can I bring her back to NH for her funeral? Can I transport her in my own personal vehicle?

Yes and no. If she is cremated, you can transport her cremains in your car anywhere. If not, look for a tangle of paperwork about shipping her with someone licensed and bonded, (at least thats how it is here)
