What drugs Humana covers depends not only on the specific plan but also on the state where you live. There are a couple of ways for you to find out whether your plan covers actonel. Go to the Medicare web site's Formulary Finder page and enter the state where you live. Then search for the specific drug. When you get to the drug, you click on it and the web page will tell you whether your Humana plan includes it in its "formulary" (which is the list of drugs it covers).

You can also view your Humana plan's entire formulary to see if your drug is listed. You do this by clicking on the link that offers you plans' entire formularies, then clicking on the link to Humana's own web site listed there. It's a good idea to do this as a double-check, since plans change their formularies during the year.
