How long can a person live with mouth cancer?

A persons life span with mouth cancer will vary greatly depending on what stage of mouth cancer they have. If the patient is diagnosed and treated earlier in the cancer they will have a chance to live out their life normally. But if a person is not diagnosed until too late they will be at risk of death and resulting in a much shorter life expectancy. Mouth cancer is usually treatable but out of the 30,000 people that contract it each year about 8,000 will dies from the cancer.
