Q
My mom is a breast cancer survivor. Knowing this, I began getting ultrasounds and mammograms at age 31. My doctor found a lump and was concerned about it over 6 years ago. I monitored it until I lost insurance about 3 years ago. Lately I have been having a lot of pain in that breast and it is swollen (similar to breast feeding, it feels "full" and tender). I have been dealing with some other health issues and have put it on the back burner. My question is can breast cancer be painful? I have heard different opinions on this.
