No it is not safe to take expired Celebrex or any other expired medications. Once the Expiration date passes , the quality and potency of the Drug begins to wane. The good news is that Most medications can be good for as long as 5 years. Pharmacy's always put a 12 month expiration date on medications but if you call you pharmacy and ask them to check the prescription number and shelf date. They will often be able to give you a more accurate date for the medication. If the medication has been exposed to extreme cold or heat them you should always discard the medication immediately.
