Q
I am going to inherit some money from my father's IRA brokerage account, and another seperate inheritance from his IRA mutual fund account. I am on Social security disability and Medicare. I opted on both forms for a lump sum payment. How will all this affect my benefits? Any suggestions on how to invest some of the money into a dividend paying income so I'll never worry about being broke or hungry again? And finally what do you think of buying treasury bonds? Are they tax exempt? What can I do to protect myself?
