An anonymous caregiver asked...
I am trying to find a place to donate extra supplies that we have after mom passed. 11 Cases of diatetisourceac (24 cans per case) 2 1/2 case of bags (inf1200ML enteral pump delivery set) she was being tube feed. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Jennifer Serafin, N.P. is a registered nurse and geriatric nurse practitioner at the Jewish Homes for the Aged in San Francisco.

I would suggest calling the free health clinics in your area. Many of these organizations rely on donations of supplies from the community to treat their patients. Things that they could use would be colostomy supplies, unused adult diapers, wound-care products, and tube-feeding products, as these are often very expensive to supply.
Good luck!
