I think a friend of mine is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. His long term memory is quite good but short term is terrible. I get the same questions repeated to me, often 8 - 10 times per day. If we are in a situation with just a small amount of pressure or he is to perform some sort of required action, then the frequency increases. IE: departure time for a flight , or the date that an event is scheduled to happen. It seems that his spouse is burying her head in the sand and hasn't addressed the issue. I've mentioned it several times but get no real response. Should I say something directly to my friend or just keep harping on his wife to seek out some help. It's quite frustrating as I'm sure you know.

Is repetition a sign of early Alzheimer's?
