Q
I am the financial Power of Attorney for my aunt who has recently been placed in an assisted living facility. Her house will be sold at an auction next month & a reverse mortgage will be cleared out with that sale. I have been taking care of all her finances etc. for the last 2-3 months. It just dawned on me, am I responsible for her tax filing too? Her only income is SS in the amount of $1500/mo.
