I am trying to find a competent compassionate physician with great communication skills for my mother, who is 71 years old. She was in a serious accident 10 months ago and is in chronic pain from rib fractures. She's tried pain clinics---but all they want to do is spinal injections (she tried this, but had an serious reaction the first time she tried it). She lives in Berrien County, but also is near South Bend---would a geriatrician be of better help for her?
