Hydrogen peroxide has not been proven to cause mouth cancer. This product is used often to prevent or cure cancer. Although this has not been a proven treatment the product is still used for decreasing bacteria in humans. It is a powerful bleaching agent, disinfectant, antiseptic and propellent. Almost all species have the ability in the body to break down hydrogen peroxide into water and air, this would indicate that this is not a cause of mouth cancer but a documented treatment when used in the correct proportions can assist in alleviating the symptoms not causing the disease.
