How does hydrogen peroxide effect diabetes?

Many people have suggested that by taking hydrogen peroxide it can help reduce or eliminate the disease altogether. However while scientist are taking a serious look at the claim they have been unable to substantiate. In a small number of patients who consumes it they have had limited success in controlling diabetes but it can not be substantiated if hydrogen peroxide had anything to do with it or it was just a placebo effect
