How dangerous is uterine cancer?
I’ve wondered how dangerous is uterine cancer, too, and the answer is it depends on how early you catch the disease. The good news is I read that uterine cancer is one of the cancers most commonly diagnosed early and most commonly eradicated once it’s been diagnosed. Often, even if part or all of the uterus has to be removed, that removal can stop the cancer completely.
Still, in terms of statistics, I read that about 40,000 women are diagnosed with uterine cancer each year in the U.S. and about 7,000 die from the disease. I also read that after five years 85 percent of surveyed uterine cancer patients were still alive, so if you ask how dangerous is uterine cancer, I’d say that like all cancers it can definitely be dangerous but it’s often defeated, too!
