Question from Anonymous Caring.com community member
Hello. My father just passed away last week and after an exhaustive search we have not been able to locate a will. My question is what to do? He has several pensions through his work and a large RRSP investment plan. But without a will not too many people have been able to help. He has been separated from my mother for around six years, and in her separation agreement she has been entitled to his life insurance. He has me and my brother listed as beneficiaries on his two pensions as well as his RRSP investments. I am just not sure what to do with the remainder of his things, such as his house and automobile and any other loose ends (bank accounts and so on).
