Can I move my aunt without being her POA?

Question About: Moving an Aunt Without Power of Attorney

Hello, I have an aunt who had a stroke 11 months ago. The day after, she gave power of attorney to her niece who lives 1000 miles away. Six months after the stroke, they had her moved to be closer to them. My aunt tells us every time we see her that she does not want to be there, and wants to go HOME. She would need round the clock care at this point. I am able to make her home accessible for her to stay there. Does she or I have any chance of getting her back into her own home where she belongs and wants to be? She is only 69 years old and wants to be back with her friends.

Thanks for any help that you can provide. Tony
