You can begin with a call or a visit to your mother’s local Chamber of Commerce or Area Agency on Aging, or you call your local Long Term Care Ombudsman, See also:

whom you can find via the locator on the National Long Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center website. They Ombudsman should have a list of all the local communities.

I also suggest you call New Lifestyles at 800-869-9549 and ask them to mail their detailed catalogue for that area of Pennsylvania. They have catalogues of senior communities for regions across the country and are one of the best resources around. You can also go into your favorite search engine and type in "retirement communities in Williamsport, Pennsylvania."

Some senior move managers are very familiar with the communities in their area, so you can also go online to the National Association of Senior Move Managers and put in the name of the town to find a move manager near your mother.
