What happens in the final stage of mouth cancer?

At this stage the prognosis is grim and often fatal. The rate of survival is pratically zero and surgeons are no longer able to operate. The disease would by now have progressed to other areas surrounding the mouth. The patient will be having a difficult time digesting food and will most likely be on a liquid diet.
