What famous people have had thyroid cancer?

Tough question. As this is still a relatively rare form of cancer, I don't know of many famous people with thyroid cancer. The only name that comes to mind is U.S. Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Unfortunately, he died of the disease. But I think he had anaplastic which is the worst kind. Also, I was pretty sure that Joe Piscopo had thyroid cancer. Did a quick internet search for you Joe Piscopo and and famous people with thyroid cancer and found that, yes, he did have the disease. But I'm happy to report he's in full remission.
