Can I receive my retirement benefit at age 52 if I'm disabled?

I had to retire early because of my health. I am 52 and on disability, and because of this I will only receive half of my retirement. I have  all the information and proof that I needed and sent it in. Who can I contact because I have received nothing back, and will they send my retirement to me at 52?
