Endometrial cancer is a cancer that arises from the endometrium, or the lining of the uterus. There are several different types of endometrial cancer, however all of them arise within the uterus itself, or if outside the uterus, they arise from the endometrium that has abnormally grown outside its place lining the uterus. Cervical cancer effects the bottom portion, or cervical uteri of the uterus.
