Does Plavix cause macular degeneration?

As of yet there is no official link between Plavix (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000040)and the onset of macular degeneration. There have been some incidents where patients taking Plavix are concerned it may be making their pre existing macular degeneration become worse. As is the case with all drugs there are potential side effects to taking Plavix and should you notice any change in your overall health you should contact your doctor right away.
