Does gabapentin treat restless leg syndrome?
Answers
A
In recent studies, it has shown that gabapentin can be used for RLS. Normally this treatment is for seizures but you may also use it for RLS. Gabapentin is known for working on the nerve cells in your body. Sometimes it has been recommended to use this treatment for Parkinson's disease as well. For further information on this treatment method please visit: http://sleepdisorders.about.com/od/sleepdisorderstreatment/a/Gabapentin-Can-Treat-RLS-Symptoms.htm. I always suggest to visit your doctor as well. Just like any other medication, there could be side effects.
