Adderall is a stimulant medication that is in the amphetamine family. It is used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder. Although it can cause significant increases in blood pressure which can lead to somewhat freer bleeding, Adderall does not possess any blood thinning properties by itself. Patients who are also taking blood thinners should be aware that bleeding may increase significantly from the combination of the blood thinners and the potential increase in blood pressure that can be the result when taking Adderall.
