An anonymous caregiver asked...
My mother is having vision problems. Her symptoms include moving lines in the road, distorted vision, or she looks at someone's face and their face may be longer or shorter than it is. Lines are moving in the street and things sitting on a flat table are sitting on a hump to her. Parts of things may be gone. She has been to her eye doctor several times and she does have Pre Retinal macular fibrosis (left eye), Age Related Macular Degeneration (dry kind), mild case. Cataract right eye and Ocular Hypertension right eye. Her eye doctor says this is not causing the problems she is having. She has had an MRI of her head and neck which shows nothing. Today she had an EEG and we are waiting on the results. Is this strange? No one seems to know what to do to help her. She is now very depressed and has had to stop driving which makes her more depressed. If you have any suggestions on which direction to go we would be grateful.
