Can a plantar wart cause cervical cancer?

This question threw me, because I didn't know there was any connection between cervical cancer and plantar warts. But, after I did a little research, I can see why you asked it.

Plantar warts are also caused by the humanpapilloma virus, HPV, which is the same one that causes almost all cases of cervical cancer, but it turns out, from what I read, that the types of HPV that cause warts (genital or plantar) are not the same types that cause cancer. This was good news for me, because I once dated a guy who had a plantar wart problem!
