Is there any link between Parkinson's and Cerebral Palsy?

Is there any link between Parkinson's and Cerebral Palsy? My father-in-law had Parkinson's and my son has Cerebral Palsy. Before my son was diagnosed with CP, we donated his cord blood. When I called to see if his cord blood was used they told me that it was used in Parkinson's research.
