Can I take Adderall with high blood pressure?

Adderall can have the side-effect of increasing heart rate, thereby sometimes occasionally increasing blood pressure. If you already have high blood pressure, it is likely that your doctor will prescribe a different drug which does not affect heart rate and blood pressure. Thus, most patients do not take Adderall if they have high blood pressure.
