In order for a woman with a broken hip to have a baby, she would most likely have to have a C-section because without hips that are functioning correctly, the pelvis may not expand to accommodate the baby during birth. A c-section is also called a cesarean section and involves cutting the woman's stomach to retrieve the baby when normal vaginal childbirth is unsafe. The only problem that the woman may encounter is whether or not she can still receive an epidural. If the hip is broken in such a way that the epidural cannot be administered, then the woman would likely have to be put under anesthesia to avoid feeling the pain.
