A blockage in arteries can cause your blood pressure to rise. When the pathways through the arteries narrow due to the cholesterol blocking the arteries, it can be harder for blood to pass through the arteries. If you do happen to have high blood pressure due to cholesterol, it would be good to take some steps to lower your cholesterol levels and prevent or lower your chances of having a heart attack. You can easily have your blood pressure checked. There are some places that will check your blood pressure. There are also doctors and health professionals you can go to that will provide you the best help you can get about your blood pressure.
