When was bone cancer first discovered?

I’m not sure when bone cancer discovery was made or who made it, but I have read that mummies have given us lots of information about cancer! The bones of ancient Egyptian mummies have been examined by experts, and they found evidence of cancerous tumors of the breast and the bone going as far back as 1600 BC. With such a long ago bone cancer discovery, you’d think we would have found a cure by now!
