What is a bio-probe for cervical cancer?

The bio-probe is a test used to detect pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix. The test is less invasive than a pap smear. It is a small probe that is simply inserted into the vagina for a few seconds. It takes a reading of the cervical tissue and reports if there is any abnormality.
