How can I avoid testicular cancer?
Avoiding testicular cancer isn't possible, I don't think. The risk factors (having a history of an undescended testicle, having a family or personal history of testicular cancer, being Caucasian, for example) aren't something you have control over.
One study suggests that there's a link between marijuana use and testicular cancer, so you might consider that if you smoke. But even other behaviors -- like alcohol consumption, diet, and tobacco use -- haven't been firmly linked.
What you can do in terms of avoiding testicular cancer that's advanced is catch it early by being aware of warning signs. If you catch it early, you can almost always beat it.
