How do I ask my doctor to test for chronic fatigue?
Answers
If you believe that you are showing signs of chronic fatigue and its a persisting problem then you need to ask your doctor immediately. Chronic fatigue syndrome can only get worse if not treated affectively from the start. When talking to your doctor it would be very important to be truthful about your symptoms and prior to visiting you may even want to keep a log of your daily activity and how it's changed since you've noticed the symptoms. The main thing with chronic fatigue is the constant every day feeling of being worn out despite hardly doing anything at all. After letting your doctor know that you think you may have CFS they will run you through a physical exam and take blood and urine samples to analyze. It's entirely possible that you may have to ask for a second opinion if your doctor doesn't think anything is wrong because it is a disease that is commonly passed over.
