Is there a link between Alzheimer's and coffee?
Yes there is a link between Alzheimer’s and coffee – from what I’ve read it’s a good one. There have been many studies that show antioxidants are good for preventing Alzheimer’s. Coffee has many antioxidants. It’s sure not going to hurt.
I think drinking coffee and tea have many benefits. Both are full of antioxidants, which is nice to know from my standpoint as I like both. I do think there is a link between Alzheimer’s and coffee, and that link may be in the antioxidants.
I don't know, my mom drank 2 cups of coffee every morning when I was young and she made the best sun tea ever, but she still came down with the symptoms of demintia by the time she was in her early to mid 40's. It could be that something else went wrong, but I don't believe coffee or tea will stop or slow the symptoms of alzheimers and demintia. She is now only 59 and is in the last stages of demintia and requires full time supervision.
