Is there an alternate treatment for my broken hip?

I am 55 and I have a fractured hip from a fall down 5 steps. For the past 7 mos the doctor has been letting it fuse back. It got better and now it is worse. Now he says my anti-inflammatory medicine is causing my bone not to heal. What else can I do?
