After a "successful" operation for colon cancer when the tumor was removed together with 8 lymph nodes (only two affected) and 8 sessions of chemotherapy I am suffering badly from neuropathy (which I already had anyway through diabetes). It is now much worse and I have a foot infection which is dressed daily. I am now told I should have radiotherapy for "precautionary and insurance purposes". I do not want to do this. Could this further affect the neuropathy and make it even worse if I agreed and of course there would be other side effects.
