Once in my care. Eight times in seven weeks in memory support. They left him alone way too often and too long. Memory support was way more difficult than caring for him myself. Had I had an option I would have moved him.

Mama too ka tumble this morning . She had been up several times throughout the night , getting a drink , checking the locks , setting out the Cheetos like little soldiers lined up on the kitchen counters . This last time she got up , her fat little chihuahua had just come in from outside with wet feet. Mama decided to pick her up and take a tour , one more time , to see if the doors were locked. While coming through the family room she became lopsided by the weight of Chiquita in her arms , and over she went. Vern & I heard the "thud" , as we are always listening with one ear while trying to get some sleep. I got up and ran to the front room and there was Mama , lying on her side , moaning that her shoulder " hurt like Hell" . Vern soon joined us and we put a pillow under her head and covered her with a blanket and told her to rest for a few minutes. She is fine now , and resting in her bed . She will be bruised a bit , but nothing was broken , and I hope this will prevent her from carrying that 10 lb. chihuahua like a baby all day. Now my nerves are starting to settle down , but I'll not be able go back to bed . The sun is up and it is time for the new day to start , back to laundry , cooking, cleaning, bed making . LORD give me strength !
