Has someone close to you tried complementary therapies to fight cancer?

Hi Alshowman my mum has got Ovarian cancer , Iv bought Graviola tablets but she is nervous about taking them did you take the tablets or eat the fruit . Im so happy for you being cancer free for 2 years ..

With regard to how many people have tried alternatives, it would be of more help if we could hear about the results. I have been cancer free now for two years but I don't know why, maybe the Graviola may be not, how can you know?

I stayed with a friend who had lung cancer for 1-1/2 years, and then thru hospice. She was on Tarceva, an experimental chemo drug, (very, very expensive) and radiation therapy. She told me that if she had it to do over, she would not do the drug, nor standard chemo, as it made her so sick and only prolonged life (on average) 3 mo. She would opt for a shorter life with better quality.
