Bio

As a hospice RN, I see a multitude of different caregiving situations: the young woman watching her elderly husband die, the young man trying to juggle the demands of teenagers while watching his wife succumb to cancer, the middle aged woman caring for her cancer ridden partner to the elderly man tenderly caring for his wife of 60 plus years. I thought I had compassion for them all. Nothing, however, comes close to the actual experience. How I've grown and continue to grow by caring for someone who is slowly loosing his mind and physical abilities. I'm so glad to have found this site, for trying to do it alone these last 7 years is crazy making!
