I am 56 years old and married with no biological children. My husband has two children; a son who lives in our house off and on and a daughter who is in college. I work part time and my employer is very understanding about my situation, allowing me to work as much or whenever I can. My husband retired a few months ago and stays with my parents during the day while I work. Both of my parents have Alzheimer's. I moved in with them around November, 2008, as they were no longer able to cook, drive, or pay bills. Dad is in somewhat better shape than mom mentally, but he is pretty much blind; totally blind in one eye and very limited vision in the other.
