Bio

I am a 50 year old professional woman who also takes care of my elderly 83 year old mother suffereing from dementia/parkinsons. Although my mother is suffereing from these illnesses, her heart and all other vital organs are working fine. She is frustrated with her illness, not a very compassionate mother (never has been) and I have tough times with her just about everyday. I ahve a very strong Christian faith, which I beleive carrys me thru each day but it does help to chat with people in my same situation. I do have 2 siblings but they really do not take an active role in her caregiving, which honestly, I resent, but have resigned myself to their choices.
