Bio

I am caring for my wife, Penny, a retired chiropractor, who has had two strokes, severe rheumatoid arthritis and now Alzheimers. She was temporarily in an atrocious nursing home and I don't ever want her to go back to one again. Have you seen the movie "The Notebook" with James Garner? That's us!

Penny passed away May 5, 2009. She acquired a fatal hospital-acquired infection and was badly butchered and mishandled. It's enough to make me want to die anywhere but in a hospital!

I miss here every day and am still dealing with some depression, but not disabling depression. I live in a small cabin in the woods with no running water and at my age (66) life has become difficult. All our money went to try to save Penny.
