Bio

I am married with 2 teenage children, In June 09 my grandma broke her ankle. My husband and I refused to let her go to a nursing home, so started taking shift to take care of her. She lived an hour away so my husband would stay with her on the days I worked and then on my days off he would come home and stay with the kids while I went over to care for grandma. In august the doctor informed us since her "forgetfulness" was getting very bad very fast we decided with the help of my mom that we would move her in with us. Her memory is going very fast and this is a much harder job then we ever imagined. I still work full time, my husband stays home to care for grandma. Our whole lives have changed so much we can never leave the house all together since grandma cannot be left alone. I am looking for support from others who understand.
