I enjoy helping others who are going through very hard times. Ihave been through some of the illness's and took care of my Mother through Cancer. Then my Dad had dementia and became very dangerous. I did not realize how dangerous until it was almost too late. I do not want others to suffer the way I did. I want them to realize that we can't save our loved ones from this illness. All we can do is stay close and visit them often, letting them know we do love them but we can't take care of them in the homes any more. We have to know when to let them go to a rest home or have a medical professional take over their care. We have to know when to turn them loose. We love them so much,so it is so hard to give them up to someone else.

I worked for the Mental Health ASS. for 20 years before retirement. Ihad Polio at the age of 20 years old. Wheelchair bound but still active and trying to help others. I am not a doctor or professional but Icare about people and how they are feeling and hurting. I only want to help them. Our loved ones mean the world to us,but some things are beyond our care and understanding. There is only so much we can do for them. Let the professional people take over. God does help us get through all the hurt feelings
