Bio

Mom was diagnosed with AD in March 2001. When Dad died in March 2009 I moved temporarily to her home. Temporarily ended in mid-July when my brothers and friends convinced me that it would be better for Mom and for me if she was placed in a nursing home. When I walk into her new home it is clean and pleasant. She is smiling and the old twinkle is in her eyes again. She has more freedom now than she did when I was staying with her, and more people to talk to. Now I can resume my plans for my life after raising children. I graduated from college in May 2009 with a BA in English and the Writing Minor. The plan is that I will write for a year and in fall 2010 I will begin the pursuit of the MA in Fine Arts-Creative Writing.
