Hi, I am an only child, single and a baby boomer. Like everyone else I am getting older every day and I am suppose to be enjoying those golden years. I am still waiting for those years; I know they are coming one of these days. I travel for a living so it came to a point I had to say to mom that it was time for her to come live with me, this meant selling her home in IN and moving to SC. That I thought was the hard part of this situation. The hard part has been seeing my mother get weaker and frailer as time goes by. Over time she is loosing her independence and that is the hard part of caring for her. I worry she will fall or not remember to take her medicine correctly, or take it at all. But everyday I love her even more because she is able to be with me, in our home and we can spend the rest of our time together.
