Bio
I call myself an Involuntary Expert on care giving. After 8 years of research and hands on experience I feel as though I have learned alot and grown a great deal. I have taken what I have learned and have it in a printed booklet, Self Care For Caregivers: The most important person in the experience is YOU! I am working on a companion piece, Self Care For Caregivers: 161 Tips to make your life easier. I hold no cerifications or degrees in Alzheimer's, but after eight years of hands on experiece I have a lot of knowledge to share. I have been there and done that.
My husband of 54 years is now living in a memory support unit and we have called in hospice pallitivecare. Another experience that will add to my knowledge of how you deal with this long journey and keep a positive attitute. .
